BRC Global Standard (Consumer Products)

The standard was originally established in August 2003 having been under consultation for over 2 years previously. Kii where involved in the development of the first issue of the standard and acknowledgement to this fact is shown in the standard itself. The BRC have recently re-issued the standard following a period of consultation with uses and suppliers.

Knight International Inspectorate have decided not to move towards UKAS accreditation to this standard, however Kii is in a position to offer guidance on meeting the requirements of the standard and has teamed up with a leading world wide Certification body who can supply Consumer Product Certification Services. (Subject to UKAS Accreditation)Working together Kii can help you develop those systems required to meet the demands of certification, whilst Kii cannot guarantee certification, it is best placed to provide guidance on the interpretation to the standard which could save companies money on expensive and sometimes non-productive consultation.
